The Pre-Visit

Welcome to Ker About Your Hair, I am so excited to meet you. I do things a little different around here and I think you’re really going to like it. It can be nerve racking seeing a new stylist for the first time so with the help of my guests, I designed a “Pre-visit” experience to help calm some unease you may feel.

You will be sent a NEW GUEST virtual consultation form when booking your first appointment with me. This initiates communication and lets me get to know your hair goals so that I can ensure your initial appointment is booked properly, that there are no surprises when you arrive and best of all, I get to work preparing for your arrival.

Once your appointment is booked you will receive a welcome email from me with lots of information about your first visit.

Know that at any time, if you have questions or concerns, you may reach me before your appointment via that email.


The Consultation

We will begin with an in-depth consultation - where we will discuss your hair routine, concerns, hair goals, budget & lifestyle. This will include looking at pictures that you have liked and saved, as well as new ones. We may grab color swatches and talk hair texture, density and health. Don’t worry, this will be so much fun and I will guide you through the whole process. Once we have a game plan, you can relax and make yourself at home. I provide snacks, treats, beverage options and a few extras along the way.



Because I'm all about you loving your hair - even after you leave the salon, you will be gifted a customized home treatment plan and access to the VIP LOUNGE that includes videos, style guides, links and more. It’s kinda like you get to take me home with you. You can also follow me on social media for regular educational tips and tutorials. If you are feeling comfortable - I love to take photos to share on my social media profiles after your service.
